Here is the checklist that I use to chose appropiate Audiovisual material to teach English taking into consideration differents

Does the AV material include clear information (brief description, or explanation?
Is the length of the AV material suitable for the students’ level of English?
CURRICULUM REQUIREMENTS
Does the AV material meet the requirements of the activity developed in the lesson?
Does the AV material include the grammar related to the student’s level of English?
Does the AV material include familiar vocabulary to students?
Does the AV material include new vocabulary related to the unit or lesson?
FACILITIES
Is the AV material Available for teachers to download it for free?
Is the AV material available for teachers to watch it or listen to it in online platforms?
Is the AV material available for students to download it or in online platforms?
QUALITY
Has the AV material a good quality of images and words (visibility)?
Has the AV material a good quality of sounds and audio?
EFFECTIVENESS
Does the AV material include appropriate content (not offensive or violent) for students?
Is the topic of the AV material related to students ‘experiences?
Is the topic of the AV up-to-date and attractive for students?
